Behind the Brand

 

The Little Design Co. is a Metro Detroit based handcrafted leather goods brand established by me, Sarah Daley, in 2013.  I carefully choose each textile and design unique pieces with a timeless, natural vibe.  When I am not designing products, you can find me managing social media and marketing for the brand or sewing and shipping orders.  

 

The Little Design Co. was born out of artistic expression and satisfying an internal need to create and to help provide the ability to pursue spontaneity and family adventure with my husband and three kids.  I believe it is so important to stay sensitive to the needs around me, financial and otherwise and give to those needs as prompted.  Past giving here at The Little Design Co. has included helping friends in the adoption process, providing Christmas gifts to refugees living in the Detroit area, our local church, mission trip to India, and non-profits working to free women from human trafficking.

 

My goal here at The Little Design Co. is to make high quality handmade leather goods.  If you value unique wearable art including children's bows, earrings, and bags of all sizes then you are in the right place and I am so glad you are here!  Take a look around, I’m hopeful you’ll find something you love and if you don’t- reach out because I love a good custom order too!
